This thread is a discussion about Inferno Tempest the card and decks using Inferno Tempest.
Inferno Tempest 2107
Inferno Tempest can only be activated when you take 3000 or more damage from a single attack. This attack can be your attack or your opponent's. Some ways to apply this are:

•Grinder Golem - This summons a monster with 3000ATK to your opponent's side of the field as well as giving you a token to attack it with. Then you can activate Inferno Tempest. Run 2 or 3.

•Lava Golem - Similar to Grinder Golem but you don't get a token, however your opponent takes 1000 damage every Standby Phase. Chances are your opponent won't resist attacking you. Now, both Golem cards have exactly 3000ATK, so you will not take any more damage than necessary. Run 1.

•Necroface - This allows more cards to be banished when it is banished with Inferno Tempest from both you and your opponent. Run 1.

•Soul Absorption - Gives you a shockingly high amount of Life Points when Inferno Tempest is activated. Run 2 or 3.

•Macro Cosmos - Allows cards to still be banished before you get a tempest combo in your hand, feeding Soul Absorption and Necroface. Run 3.

•Gren Maju Da Eiza - When Inferno Tempest is activated it can get amazing attack. Run 1 or 2.

•Helios The Primordial Sun - Cannot reach Gren Maju Da Eiza's attack, but is searchable by Macro Cosmos. Run 1.

Now besides these cards, run some D.D monsters and staples. And that makes a pretty amazing deck. If anyone wants to add any recommendations or just wanna comment on the guide reply to the topic.

Its a very interesting build figuring ones opponent doesn't run a deck that uses remove from play abilities. Nice work.

Well. The only currently popular deck that has such an affect is *blegh* Dragon Rulers, and they can't activate their affects adding monsters to the hand as these monsters are before they can get to hand. I'm going to add Bait Doll to this list, as you often get both you and your opponent to low amounts of cards quickly, and you can have an infinite deck with this.

Also, thanks for the compliment. It took some serious thinking to make. I made it from asking myself. 'Can you win only with your spells and traps?' which is precisely what your opponent has to do to survive with this deck.

your deck is interesting but if you don't have that card in your hand it seems like its a dead build you need more ways to win other than just on card. I suggest some monster eff to banish cards necroface is a great start.

This card would work good for burn decks.

I already run Necroface, D.D Warrior Lady, and other support cards. And it would be good for burn, but the difficulty to get it activated requires more support. I run D.D Dynamite which is pretty interesting........

this deck tho wont be as affective now that macro and fissure are banned
even with that it still might be as affective if you focus on backrow stun stuff until your ready with tempest

backrow heavy decks will be very successful next format with heavy storm gone
